Team Central  and Mid Am automatics have been updated from the Marquette Mid Am. Click on the Team Selections Page.

Lutsen and Spirit will be the final Mid Am events to determine J2 National and Colorado Jr. FIS Ski Cup selections. The J2's will be announced by Feb. 9.

Please review the Rules and procedures that are posted on the Resources Page for details on selections.

10.1.09 - October is here!

USSA membership deadline to avoid late fees is Oct. 15!

It is snowing in Colorado and they have been making snow at Loveland. Lindsey Vonn makes a trip to Chicago and Minneapolis this week.

Last weekend was the Shelly Glover Sport Education Foundation Century Ride and Alpine Ski Club symposium at the Wisconsin Dells. It was great to see those that attended. They all caught up on valuable information with the USSA Alpine Training System and the Sport Science department.

Boyne Mt. is the site for the Region 3 Physical Assessment and CO class on Sunday as part of the Skitoberfest. Former USST coach Greg Needell and Simon Dumont headline the weekend. Brewster will present the latest info from USSA along with the New Alpine Training System on Saturday afternoon. Check the schedule page for more info.

The CASC meeting will be in Chicago on Oct. 10. Hope to see you there.

Region 2 Physical Assessment is Oct. 11 at Arrowhead High School.

Please support the upcoming Shelly Glover Ski Education Foundation Century Bike Ride coming up the end of September. The Foundation is a huge partner for us here in the Central Division. www.sgsef.org  I hope to see many of you there especially for the Club Symposium on Sunday.

5.2.09 - Documents updated

Thank you to all the coaches and volunteers that attended the meetings in Chicago. Your involvement with these meetings will only help us get better in the Central Division. Please check the resources page for updated meeting minutes and reports. Information is also posted on the projects page for May camp at Abasin and on a Chile SG/GS Camp opportunity with the Aspen Valley Ski Club (AVSC)

3.26.09 - US Nationals underway in Alaska

3.23.09 - Central Athletes score podiums at JO's!

Central Athletes had great success in Colorado at the Junior Olympics. Team Gilbo member Lauren Samuels led the Central Division with National Championship titles in SG and Overall at the J2 Nationals in Aspen.

2.16.09 - Championship time!

Rested up? Here we go. USSA Central Division

 has named the J2 National Team and US National Team. Posted on Team Selections page. Yet to come. Central Age Class Championships at Marquette this week to name the J3 and J4 Junior Olympic Teams. Fact sheet is posted on the J3 J4 Championship page. Then it is on to Lutsen for the Central FIS Championships. This will be a great championship series.
